FUNDBÜRO: hygienic vomiting

A few days spent in hospital once in a while can be an insight to the design progress of medical equipment. I was impressed with how much more easy, hygienic and less uncomfortable can act of vomiting become thanks to good design. As the description said "Vommax(!) bag is designed for the safe and hygienic collection of vomit" and is a great replacement for the traditional disposable bowls and kidney dishes . I like to believe that it was made of the bio-decomposable plastic. Product of vacsax.com, UK.

Instructions
1. Put bag straight
2. Place over nose and mouth
3. After use twist top of bag
4. Secure in the plastic slot
5. Dispose of in accordance to procedures

Fat Thursday feast

Today's Fat Thursday!It's a traditional Polish and German feast on the last Thursday before Lent. Because Lent is a time of fasting, the next opportunity to feast would not be until Easter. Among the most popular all-national dishes served on that day are pączki or berliner, fist-sized donuts filled with rose marmalade:

Collar-bone II

I'm alive. Th surgery went pretty well. Yes, I have a wire in my bone, which will be removed in few weeks. Ugh - I'm wearing a plaster cast!

Introducing: Charles Avery & Bruno Schulz

Charles Avery, great artist. I saw his works in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen at Rotterdamse Museumnacht 2009 and I was very impressed espeially by his drawings and sculptures. You can see some of his works here

His artwork remind me of drawings and stories by a Polish artist Bruno Schulz, who's works I've always worshipped very much.

Collar-bone

I'd go for way more interesting story here than the real one. But the truth is: evening - biking back home - a car collision - collar bone fracture. I'm having a surgery on Monday :/

Bavarian Frühstück

A delicious breakfast at Eva and Florian's last Saturday. German Weisswurst, freshly baked Pretzels and Obatzda (a spicy cheese spread). A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Oh and a beer of course, yes, for breakfast!
