A few days spent in hospital once in a while can be an insight to the design progress of medical equipment. I was impressed with how much more easy, hygienic and less uncomfortable can act of vomiting become thanks to good design. As the description said "Vommax(!) bag is designed for the safe and hygienic collection of vomit" and is a great replacement for the traditional disposable bowls and kidney dishes . Instructions
1. Put bag straight
2. Place over nose and mouth
3. After use twist top of bag
4. Secure in the plastic slot
5. Dispose of in accordance to procedures

Today's Fat Thursday!It's a traditional Polish and German feast on the last Thursday before Lent. Because Lent is a time of fasting, the next opportunity to feast would not be until Easter. Among the most popular all-national dishes served on that day are pączki or berliner, fist-sized donuts filled with rose marmalade:

I'm alive. Th surgery went pretty well. Yes, I have a wire in my bone, which will be removed in few weeks. Ugh - I'm wearing a plaster cast!
